안경 알 속에 비친 세상 풍경

무료하여 뒷좌석에서 안경을 찍어봤다.
그 속에 서해대교가 숨겨져있을 줄
꿈에도 몰랐다. 
 

사진을 현상(?)해 보니 서해대교가 '안경 알' 속으로 들어온 것이다. 뜻밖이었다.
안경 속에 세상의 풍경이 담겨져있었던 것이다. 
참 별 일이야. 

그 땐 몰랐다.
 
그렇지만 사진 현상을 하면서 그 순간을 떠 올려보니
드라이브를 즐긴 건 우리가 아니라
두 개의 유리 알을 갖춘 안경이었다.

그 안경 속에
세상의 풍경이 담겨져있었던 것이다.

안경테를 두른 두 알의 유리.

그는 우리와 함께 세상의 풍경에 몰두 했다. 
우리가 멍하니 창밖을 바라볼 때 조차,...

운전 중에 쓴 썬그라스


그는 
자동차 앞을 스쳐 지나가는 세상의 풍경 모두를 
안경테 속에 담고 있었다. 
 
우리가 가슴 속에 회한을 담듯...
  

자동차가  멈추고 뒷좌석에서 내린 다음
맨 먼저 반겨준 건 메꽃이었다.
 

나팔꽃 처럼 생긴 꽃이 메꽃이다.
그저 나팔꽃을 닮았을 뿐 
사람들의 기억 밖으로 벗어난 꽃이다.  

안경의 두 알도 그런것인 지.

우리가 부지불식간에 놓쳐버린 풍경을 
두 개의 안경알이 기억하고 있었다.
 

그 속에
서해대교가 숨겨져 있을 줄 
누군들 알았겠는가.

그 땐 몰랐다.
